Tricky Brains Educational Therapy

“If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn” – Ignacio Estrada

Tricky Brains is dedicated to supporting the development of confident and independent learners...

in reading and writing, by teaching in a way that engages not just the mind of an individual with a learning difficulty like dyslexia, but for all minds. Testimonials

“Tricky Brains has transformed my son’s confidence in reading. The personalised approach made all the difference, and he’s now excited about school!”
— Jenni N.

“Kim at Tricky Brains didn’t just help me improve my reading; she helped me believe in myself. I now see dyslexia as something I can overcome, not something that holds me back.”

- Student

As the mother of a dyslexic grade sixer, who is scarily about to head into Yr 7, my advice to anyone reading this, who has concerns over their child’s ability to learn and grow, if you have a gut feeling that they might need extra help to “catch up” to where they should be, please don’t wait for teachers to agree with you!

We feel lucky to be a part of the Tricky Brains community, but I knew my son needed some form of assistance two years earlier, and I should have trusted my gut feeling.

Always go with your instincts ❤️
